The Martin Henry Project

The Lord made a way for this team of worshipers to go and sing and pray at the Tacoma Rescue mission. This is a highlite in my life to be able to go in at the diner hour to minster in music. God is so good and I  am so blessed to be able to go in and serve the Lord this way. I just want to give some of the back ground to this event. When I was about 12 years old and recieved Christ as my Lord, I would tag along with an Mr Pretyman from a church called Door to Life located in Tacoma, Way back in the early 70's I had been so touch by the Lord at that age that I wrote some songs and wanted to go down the mission and play them and I did I was nervous but with Gods help I did. My home life was tuff with alcholic perents. It was a tuff enviroment. So this was a blessing to go and try to help other people. Well things turned as time past I pulled back from my faith  and went my own way by the time I was 14 and it just got worst and into the darkenss I went searching until I turned 40 and reconnected with my faith in a forgiving God. And then ten years after that at the age of 50 I went back into the same mission new location in Tacoma but the same folks looking for a way to get by. And there we are bringing the Gosple of hope in music. Sometime the journey can be long and the there just seems to be no end to the darkness but in my desire to come to the lite, in a world of darkness and embrace the creator of everything. I will shout it with my last breath. I need you Jesus Amen!!!!

Let us no neglect the fellowship. Its is always good to grow in a Church Body. Here Is where the word of God can touch and transform lives. I really encourge getting connected with  a good Church. And serving the Lord in what gifts he has given you.

This minstry has had the honer to be apart of this annual envent in the Seattle/ Tacoma area located in the south sound. Each year we sit in on the board of directors and the entertainment commitee to help promote comunity awarness. Each year we pray for more people to come and help in this event.  There is lot to be said for just being seen as one of Gods own it can speak volumes, We are to be the salt and light in the world.

The Way of the Mater is a great outreach tool to use to reach the lost. Spend time there and see how everyday conversation can turn into a witness tool for the Lord. This program is seen on TBN . Really good stuff.
